FAQs

Not sure about your wedding hair and makeup look just yet? Hopefully we can help you along with our FAQ section!

How far in advance should I book for my wedding hair/makeup?
At least 18months before your wedding date although some brides can book up to 2 years in advance.
What should I include in an email when first inquiring about bridal hair and makeup?
• Wedding date
• Venue you are getting ready from
• Your full name
• How many people will be getting hair and makeup
• Ceremony time
Do I need to secure my wedding date with a deposit?

A non-refundable/non transferable deposit of £100 is required to secure your wedding date. This amount is deducted from your final wedding day invoice. If for any reason you wish to cancel your booking deposits are non refundable and non transferable to a new date.

When should I have my trial?
Every client is different but we would recommend a trial around 3 months before your wedding date.
How long should I allow for the trial?
Around 1 hour for your hair trial and 2 hours for hair and makeup.
Can my bridal party have a trial?
We can offer trials for the whole bridal party although normally only the bride would require a trial.
Do I need to bring anything?
Its not necessary to bring anything along to your trial, however if you have already purchased your veil or hair accessories then this would be helpful to bring with you.
Can I try more than one style?
Yes you can certainly try more than one, but we do ask clients to try and pin point their two favourites. If you have too many choices it can get confusing and can sometimes lead to an unsuccessful trial or a bride who is still unsure of what they want. It is also difficult to maintain the hair if it is put up and taken down several times and can start to look untidy.
Should I bring an image of the style I’m looking for?
Yes that can be helpful. You can bring screenshots from the website, Facebook page or Instagram.
Do you provide hair extensions?
We don’t supply hair extensions but are happy for you to bring along some clip in extensions to try out at your trial.
Which Makeup Brands do you use?
All our makeup artists only ever use premium branded products such as DIOR,ESTEE LAUDER, NARS, URBAN DECAY, BENEFIT, CHANEL, GIORGIO ARMANI, YSL, CHARLOTTE TILBURY, MAC
I like minimal make up and don’t want to look too different on my wedding day. Should I book makeup too?
Absolutely! You don’t have to wear a lot of makeup on your wedding day to look beautiful, it just needs to be applied correctly and with the appropriate products. Most of our brides like a natural makeup look so our style is very natural and not over done. It is most important on this day that your makeup lasts, looks great in photographs, makes you feel beautiful and is applied flawlessly to make you feel and look your best on this very special day.
I have sensitive skin, can I use my own products?
Of course you can, we can use all of your own products or just a few things, its entirely up to you.
Will you travel to me on the wedding date?
We can travel to you o the wedding morning, wether that be your home or venue.
How much time will you need on the wedding morning?
We can discuss timings at your trial but the average wedding takes us between 3-4 hours.
